Night time, the " da ma" (old ladies) played music there and dance. The noise quite loud. Someone teaching and learning rollers skate in front of the church.
The church is beautiful. U can walk inside and pray.
I attended Mass here on Palm Sunday; it was wall-to-wall, standing room only. The mass was in Chinese, and I stood near the holy water font, but that area was too busy, so I moved to the side of the church. I could tell what was going on during the the mass by watching the priest. However, someone in the crowd tapped me on the shoulder...they had gone and gotten me a chair to sit down! I was touched, and sat out of politeness, but then I was totally lost because I couldn't see the altar. People were very friendly and smiled a lot; I felt welcomed as a Catholic. One difference was the Sign of Peace, done with palms pressed together and a bow....no handshakes. Wonderful experience.
