  It was very fancy and iconic but the duck was really fat you cant eat much of it

  Very average restaurant... nothing fantastic. The Peking duck was extremely oily (not worth the price) and the counter staff were not the most friendly.

  Yes it might get touristy but the experience was still very memorable and tasty! The duck skin was crispy and the meat was tender and full of flavors. How can you beat a skillful carving live performance?

  Firstly it you're navigating here without sat nav, it's off the main Street and not easily spotted so have the name written in Chinese so you can ask someone where to go. Anyway....it was so good. The way they serve the duck is done with a little drama which is always nice. If you order a set meal, its large. Quite expensive by almost anywhere's standards but a great experience.

  it is one of the most famous Peking duck restaurants in Beijing which was one of the reasons why there were a lot of people standing in que to get a seat. We took a token and were told to wait until one table for 2 gets vacant, once our number came one lady in Chinese tradition dress took us to our table. The way to eat and cook the duck is really an art, at least for the first timers as we. It was the best food I had tasted so far after coming to China. It’s basically the combination of all the ingredients together that make the roll that makes it so delicious.
