::Naast het historisch Beijing, is een bezoek ook dit museum om meerdere rede de moeite waard. Ook als je niet echt van treinen houdt. Waar anders is te zien dat een land in precies 100 jaar van de eerste stoomtrein (met hulp van buiten af) naar de bullit trein (met eveneens hulp van buiten af) is doorontwikkeld. Mooier dan hier zie je niet de enorme ontwikkeling die China heeft gemaakt in een noten dop. Van derde wereld land naar 2e groot macht.

::this place has provided the historical stories about railway transporatation development in China, since the ancient period, current present time and the future vision plan. for railway historical exploring lover, this place is highly recommended and worth for visiting. Anyway, beside this railway museum, there still has another spacious area with full package exhibition of railway historical stories which has located in ChaoYang regional area ( a bit far away from Beijing downtown).

::帶孩子去的，他喜歡火車。裡面有很多火車的來歷，以及以前火車的模型及部分結構說明，一共分為四層，地下一層是火車站和青藏鐵路等沙盤展示，一層二層是火車的發展史，三次是影院等教育信息。

::鉄道博物館は朝陽区郊外にあるのですが、こちらは分館みたいな位置付けになるのか？と思います。天安門広場の南側、駅は前門駅になります。昔の駅舎をそのまま活用した（説明がありましたが多分昔の北京東駅）ものになります。溥儀もここから利用したことがあったそうです。大戦後は一時期、商業施設になったようですが、現在は博物館になっています。天安門広場の帰りにいかがでしょうか。入場料は2011年に20RMBでしたが、2016年9月現在も20RMBでした。
