::Found it to be a great hostel, the staff were very friendly and helpful with any queries. The room was nice with very effective A/C, it was also handy to have a locker to keep valuables safe. The location is good as it's quite close to the Xisi subway station which makes it easy to get to all the major attractions. The alleyway it's located on can seem a bit dark at night but the area feels very safe as there is almost no crime in Beijing so threse probably little chance of anything untoward happening. There are quite a few small restaurants and shops nearby, but there aren't many bars in the area as the locals seem to like to drink beer in the small restaurants which close early, there is a really nice bar 20 mins walk away called the Nbeer Pub (85 Huguosi Dajie) which is open until 0200 sometimes. It's also 20 mins walk to the Xaidan district which has a few big shopping centres.

::Great backpackers inn in traditional houtong. Great to hang and meet fellow travellers while experiencing Beijing from local perspective. Great friendly staff, clean linen and facilities.
